I am a connector and collaborator (I always have a rolodex of partnership opportunities in my mind), an entrepreneur (I am a co-founder, partner, or advisor in multiple startups ranging from tech, to export, to education locally, nationally, and internationally), an ecosystem builder (I am a catalyst in the community with a unique ways of seeing the dots, enhancing ideas, and connecting them in meaningful and helpful ways), and a network weaver (I curate networks of networks, bridging divides to leverage the power of community in ways that foster collective action).

I regard the economy as servant to humanity. I encourage and enhance disruptive and innovative ideas, and promote next practices that activate, amplify and champion cross-sector social innovation, and socio-economic development.

My passion is working with strongly sustainable business tools and methodologies to create a world where enterprises excel because humans flourish and nature thrives.

In 2005, I founded umewe Projects & consulting and spent over 15 years as a professional on capacity building, partnership development, and bridging gaps between the mindsets of nonprofit and corporations working with over 50 boards of societies and professional associations across numerous industries, locally and nationally.

In 2018, I co-founded INTONOVUS Canada and Impact Calgary to focus on Business Model Innovations that embed social and environmental priorities into businesses as they develop.

In 2021, co-founded the Flourishing Enterprise Co-lab for the purpose of promoting the Flourishing Business Canvas as a tool for leaders to actualize being socially beneficial, environmentally regenerative, and financially viable.
